Spa Getaway Needed!

I am drowning here, between grad school, two jobs, and my currently-neglected son. I can’t afford to take off for a weekend for a spa stay, but I sure can dream about it. I found a few beautiful spots I can visit in my mind when the need arises. Which is often.

Drift Spa
Located in Las Vegas

  • Features the only hammam (Turkish bath) in Las Vegas that is co-ed, complete with heated stone slabs, mosaic-tiled walls, mood lighting, and lots and lots of steam.

Spa Luce
Located in Los Angeles

  • Features a spa menu that is making my mouth water right now, anti-aging skincare, amazing massages, body skin therapy by Sonya Dakar, and the ability to purchase products.

Agua Spa
Located in Miami

  • Features the peaceful palette of white-on-white, which carries over to spa treatments such as their signature Milk and Honey massage and a White Cloud Algae Body Mask.

I-Spa
Located in San Francisco

  • Features iPod docks in each treatment room. Hip like its SoMa district location, the I-Spy has an “oil blending bar” for massage and facials using MURAD skin products.

So, if you’re like me an need a physical, mental, and emotional break, consider visiting the above mentioned spas. Even if it’s just in your mind.
